Michelle is bringing home the money, she just got second in a AM Series slopestyle event at Northstar, Good Job Zeller! “It was a big field of 19 ladies and I qualified 6th for finals. It started snowing before finals which slowed down the course but I managed to put down a solid second run to take home 2nd place and $500! Here is an article on snowboardermag.com. I am also confirmed for U.S. open and am stoked to compete in it again this season!”~MZ
Michelle was in the Backyard Bang, here is a little rundown…
The setup was really impressive. I had fun boardsliding on the boxes and challenging myself on the kink rail. A lot of my roommates from Mt.Hood this summer came out for it and it was fun to compete against them. The boys were killing it and the girls were pushing each other to try harder tricks. It was very cool that the contest was able to be right in the middle of Denver, this allowed many spectators who normally don’t get to watch snowboarding contests experience the action. This contest has made me excited for the Campus Rail Jam Tour which will be coming to my school in a few months. -Michelle
Colorado GNU GIRL Michelle Alisa Zeller had a good week! She’s had a busy season, and it’s paying off, she just got 3rd place in open class women slopestyle at nationals. Also right after she placed 1st at College CBS ALTS Games. Zeller dominates Alt Games snowboard slopestyle
Update from regional Colorado rider, Michelle Alisa Zeller…
I just got back from Japan from the Asian Open and received the new board you sent me! Thank you sooo much! I did really well at Asian Open in slopestyle I got 13th out of 40 in qualifiers but missed semi-finals since they only took top 10 :/ But on the bright side now I am ranked number 28 on the TTR World Tour! Also I took 1st place in a USASA slopestyle before I left at Copper. I will be competing in U.S. Open next week and then Roxy Chicken Jam. I am stoked to ride the new board in these upcoming contests.
Thanks again! ~Michelle
